So now they're saying that there was no fire...
Apparently there was some malfunction with the fume hood and that’s why smoke started pouring out of the kitchen. (But then why was that man yelling at all of us that there was a real fire and we had to go across the street?)
… I’m still going to tell people I escaped from a burning building.

They cut down the episodes (and edit them awfully) so loads aren't put into the show on TV (Like when Pheobe says bastard) but if you buy the Complete series all of the deleted parts are in the episode so you don't have to click on the annoying deleted scenes. The deleted parts are good though!

I just escaped from a burning building
So I went to the dining hall and I was just setting my stuff down at a table when the alarms started going off. Everyone was just standing around, not really sure what to do. Some guy asked if this meant we had to leave. I said, “I don’t want to leave, I just got in here. I haven’t even gotten my food yet!”
But then I looked in the kitchen and all this smoke was pouring...
